The company COLOR WOOL is a so-called one-woman outlet.

MIA TENHUNEN made her first crochet work when she was just 7 years old.

And the first complete sweater "was born" already 4 years later. Since then the busy hands of this hardworking woman have produced uncounted numbers of various products made out of yarns. After studying the art creativity she had enough courage, confidence, skills, knowledge and determination to start up her own enterprise.

The idea of COLOR WOOL is to create unique custom-made knitted products. You can put in your own ideas and MIA TENHUNEN tries to consider all individual wishes - products just made for you.

Our specialties are hand- and machine-knitted wears of all kind. Our wide selection offers you different kind of headgear (caps for all seasons), socks, mittens, scarfs, sweaters, and so much more; including small gift items and souvenirs. Again - all products are unique; your imagination is the only limit to create what human hands or machine-knitting can do.

COLOR WOOL also sells specialty yarns and other knitting supplies. On the shelves you can also find other handmade gift items from different artists.

The trademark COLOR WOOL was established in the year 2000. Since September 2004 the shop it located at the current address.
